We are looking for the best of the best to join us for an opening for a school age teacher (kinder to 5th). We are located just north of Austin and convenient to Round Rock, Leander and surrounding areas and our map link follows: If you are passionate about the field of early childhood education, willing to be creative and at times a little silly, committed to being a part of a positive team culture, have experience in a classroom setting and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children, then we want to meet you! General Qualifications: must meet the qualifications of his/her state and those set forth in the National Standards for hiring (see including the following:
- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
- Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
Preferred but not required qualifications: : Willing to drive an after school bus. An increase in compensation will made if you have or attain a CDL license. : To meet driving requirements, must be at least 21 years of age and no driving moving violations within past 3 years and hold a current TX drivers license. : Prior experience working with school age summer camp and/or after school program in a licensed childcare center. Employment is contingent upon cleared DFPS, DPS, and FBI Background Checks
Job Type: Full time and part time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
