Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Anaheim, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall efficiency of the office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of accounting processes. Responsibilities: - Process and manage full-cycle payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Coordinate onboarding procedures for new hires to ensure smooth transitions. - Perform regular reviews and reconciliations of bank accounts for accuracy. - Oversee accounts receivable operations, including invoicing and collections. - Verify and review accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate records. - Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability. - Prepare and submit union trust reports in compliance with regulations. - Handle organizational reporting and enrollment processes. - Ensure compliance with labor regulations and review subcontract agreements. - Supervise office staff and oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency. Requirements - Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Strong experience in performing bank reconciliations. - Expertise in payroll administration, including certified payroll. - Familiarity with AIA billing and related financial documentation. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with office staff. - Prior experience in managing complex financial systems and reporting.
