Data Engineer

LaSalle Network is hiring a Data Engineer for an innovative, fast-growing international SaaS company with its U.S. headquarters in downtown Chicago. This is a high-impact opportunity to build scalable, cloud-based data pipelines that power procurement analytics for global brands.
In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and enterprise clients to connect ERP systems, automate data flows, and optimize data performance. If you enjoy solving complex technical puzzles and thrive in fast-paced, global environments—this is your chance to make a real mark.

Data Engineer Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines across multiple systems and ERPs
• Design integrations using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL, SSIS, and proprietary tools
• Collaborate with clients to understand procurement analytics needs and develop effective technical solutions
• Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve integration workflows
• Interface with client-side IT stakeholders to ensure smooth, secure data connections
• Investigate cloud and on-premises data sources to align with business reporting goals
• Provide input on technical architecture and enhancements across data platforms

Data Engineer Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Azure tools (Data Factory, Databricks a plus)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and client-facing mindset
• Ability to document processes and explain technical concepts clearly

Bonus Points For:

• Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP), scripting (Python, PowerShell)
• Background in data integration, data analysis, or ERP systems
• Consulting, project management, or procurement analytics experience

This is a full-time role with unlimited PTO, flexible remote options, paid parental leave , and a 401(k) with 4% match —plus stipends for phone, internet, and home office setup. Salary will be determined based on experience, with ranges from $70,000 to $150,000 depending on level.
