Job Summary The Project Manager for Faculty Affairs & Medical Education Coordinator is responsible for managing projects related to faculty promotion, tenure, and development, as well as overseeing medical education programs for Family Medicine. This role includes assisting the Program Manager with Graduate Medical Education (GME) and supporting the Family Medicine Residency Program, which encompasses three residency programs and one fellowship program. The Coordinator will support staff within the medical education department, coordinate faculty development initiatives, and ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation standards. This position will serve in a support role during periods of absence with the Medical Student Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Family Medicine.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of faculty affairs processes, including promotion, tenure, onboarding, and academic policy compliance.
- Knowledge of Graduate Medical Education (GME), residency programs, and accreditation standards such as ACGME.
- Skills in project management and event planning, including coordination, logistics, and evaluation.
- Skills in verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact effectively with faculty, residents, students, and leadership.
- Skills in organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Skills in supervising staff and supporting professional development in an academic environment.
- Skills in using administrative and academic tools, such as Microsoft Office, ERAS, learning management systems, and scheduling software.
- Ability to interpret and apply institutional policies and procedures accurately.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-paced, mission-driven setting.
Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
