The Fitness Center Supervisor works closely with the Fitness Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional Member service. This position blends hands-on service with front-line leadership , supporting staff and engaging directly with Members in a welcoming and professional manner.
Lead by example on the fitness floor, creating a friendly, service-first environment
Assist in managing daily operations, staffing, and front desk responsibilities
Support the Fitness Manager with scheduling, payroll, and interviewing when needed
Help develop fitness programming including classes, training, and wellness workshops
Maintain inventory, vendor coordination, and cleanliness standards
Ensure Members and guests are welcomed, checked in, and cared for with personal attention
Serve as the point of contact in the Manager's absence, attending meetings and resolving issues as needed
Keep the Fitness Center clean, organized, and safe for all users
Assist with promotions and activities to keep Members engaged and inspired
A strong communicator with a professional, positive attitude
Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
Experienced in high-end hospitality, customer service, or fitness (private club experience a plus)
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
A natural leader who thrives on problem-solving and creating memorable experiences
