Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Perris, California. This role offers the opportunity to work in a family-oriented and collaborative environment where you will oversee comprehensive bookkeeping functions for multiple entities. Responsibilities: - Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. - Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and financial records. - Handle month-end reporting processes, including adjustments for depreciation and amortization. - Oversee invoicing and track phases of transactions to maintain proper documentation. - Monitor account balances and perform reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. - Collaborate with team members to understand existing processes and uphold operational efficiency. - Utilize Sage and ADP software for payroll and accounting functions. - Provide support during peak seasons, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports. - Maintain compliance with established procedures and accounting standards. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar role. - Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes. - Strong understanding of general ledger management, journal entries, and adjusted entries. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and commands. - Familiarity with Sage accounting software and ADP payroll systems. - Solid grasp of accounting principles, including debits and credits. - Degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required. - Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple entities with separate charts of accounts.
