Cha Cha Chá Miami is opening in Miami, Florida, and we’re looking for an experienced Lead Bartender to join our team!

Our Miami location will be located in the vibrant and artsy Wynwood neighborhood. Our food and beverage menus are inspired by Mexico City’s innovative culinary concepts mixed with traditional Mexican dishes. Our sister locations are Terrazza Cha Cha Chá in CDMX and LA Cha Cha Chá in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead bar team to ensure service and products are of company standard
• Responsible for the continued organization and maintenance of all bar areas; delegating to the team on duty, under the oversight of management team
• Responsible for being the liaison between management and bar team
• Work with management team to create SOPs and training programs
• Ensure bar is set properly and all batches and pars are correct
• Bar is clean and set up properly
• Ensure that cocktails and other beverages are made to standards
• Weekly inventory of liquor and beer
• Monthly full inventory of all products with General Manager/Bar Director
• Put together weekly order guide and communicate to Purchasing Manager
• Evaluate new spirits and products with bar General Manager/Bar Director
• Execute and create cocktail specials with bar General Manager/Bar Director
• Maintain Cocktail and Bar Bible
• Plan and execute staff trainings and tastings with General Manager/Bar Director
• Maintain and execute canning program with General Manager/Bar Director
• Support with administrative projects for the bar team when necessary
• Support with opening and closing managerial duties for partial of service shift when necessary

Qualifications:

• Manager ServSafe certified preferred
• Food Handler certified required
• Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) training required
• General food and ingredient knowledge required including allergens
• 3+ years experience working in high volume kitchen preferred
• Open availability required
• Be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
