The ideal candidate will oversee the timely delivery of all equipment, food, and beverages to off-premise venues. Responsibilities include packing and loading venue proofers, as well as maintaining organized pack-out and walk-in areas. Prior experience in high-volume catering operations is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all event packages leaving throughout the day contain every item listed on the site menu.
• Verify that all tasting events include the required food items and are ready for execution.
• Pre-pack all events scheduled for the following morning.
• Collaborate with the PM packer to ensure proper handoff of daily events.
• Order and pack all grocery team items, coordinating with the PM packer to confirm all items are obtained and packed in a timely manner.
• Prepare and distribute detailed PM notes, including any shortages for events departing the next morning.
• Label proofers for upcoming events and place site menus in each proofer for reference.
• Assist chefs with pack-outs as needed.
• Partner with the production chef to resolve major issues during event pack-outs.
• Monitor and maintain the dry pack area to support efficient event packing.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a professional kitchen environment is required; prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling and catering operations is considered an asset.
• Must be capable of safely lifting up to fifty (50) pounds and able to perform duties in walk-in refrigerators and freezers for extended periods.

Location:   Bronx, New York 

Schedule:   Seasonal role with the requirement to work any shift on any day as needed

Base salary: $18.00 per/hour
