Job Description

Salary: $78,400 - 107,800 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years in telecommunications, electrical, or computer engineering, or 3-6 years of equivalent combined academic and practical experience
• Foundational familiarity with monitoring concepts and relevant tools
• Experience with real-time networks in a professional setting
• Proficiency in utilizing technical resources and collaborating across IT
• Understanding of basic TCP/IP networking principles
• Strong customer service orientation and sensitivity
• Willingness to learn about dependency management
• Ability to demonstrate persistence in completing tasks and activities
• Capability to seek and act on guidance from experienced team members
• Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for site visits

• Provide engineering and technical support for IT solutions associated with Cyber, Fiber Optics, Firewall, Real-Time Networks, SmartGrid, Transport, and Wireless Communication technologies
• Foster strong relationships with Utility business partners while managing various telecommunications projects and their upkeep
• Collaborate with IT Architecture and Engineering on planning technology introductions and ensuring alignment with architectural standards
• Analyze IT trends and issues, proposing actionable insights based on data analysis
• Review data protection protocols for business functions, documenting available solutions
• Uphold established best practices, procedures, and methodologies in all tasks
• Ensure timely completion of tasks, maintaining adherence to service level agreements
